My Vision for Our Community

For six consecutive years, Winnebago County has had the highest crime rate per capita in the entire State of Illinois. It's time to make our community safe for our families.

My experience as a Prosecutor, a City Attorney and as an Assistant Attorney General will help me serve you as the next Winnebago County State's Attorney. My vision for the State's Attorney's Office includes:

• Aggressive prosecution of those criminals who are making our families and neighborhoods unsafe.
• Specialized prosecution teams to focus on areas such as Violent Crimes against Individuals; Thefts from Individuals and Properties; Identity Theft/Computer Crimes; Elder/Domestic Abuse; and Embezzlement/Business Crimes.
• advanced education and mentoring to improve trial skills of prosecutors.
• Assistant State's Attorneys assigned as liaisons to each community and neighborhood organization throughout the county.

These are just some of the ways I'll bring new energy and new ideas to the State's Attorney's Office.
